朝の光が　静かに包む

The morning light wraps around me quietly,

昨日の涙を　ぬくもりにして

turning yesterday's tears into warmth.

小さな声で　願いを綴る

In a small voice, I spell out a wish;

静かに届く　羽衣のうた

the celestial robe's song reaches me softly.

ひとりじゃないと　風がささやく

'You're not alone,' the wind whispers.

どこかで同じ　空をみている

Somewhere, you're looking at the same sky.

すれ違っても　変わらなくても

Even if we pass each other by, even if nothing changes,

心は　きっと繋がっている

our hearts are surely connected.

音よ　羽ばたいて

O sound, take flight,

未来を　結んで

and tie the future together.

遠く離れた　想いを乗せて

Carrying feelings far apart,

優しく揺れて　消えないように

sway gently, so you won't fade.

時をこえて　伝えて

Crossing time, carry it through —

この願いを　羽衣に乗せて

let me set this wish upon the celestial robe.

風の手紙が　頬をなでていく

A letter on the wind strokes my cheek.

名もなき日々の　ひとしずくたち

The little drops of nameless days,

胸の奥で　まだ羽ばたけずに

still unable to take wing deep in my chest,

待っていた　あの日のこだま

had been waiting — the echo of that day.

ふいに聞こえた　誰かの言葉

A word from someone, heard out of nowhere:

「生きてるだけで　奇跡なんだよ」

'Just being alive is a miracle.'

痛みを越えて　強くなるたび

Each time I grow stronger past the pain,

羽衣は　歌になってゆく

the celestial robe turns into a song.

音よ　舞い上がれ

O sound, soar up,

願いを連れて

and take my wish with you.

悲しみさえも　優しさに変えて

Turning even sorrow into kindness,

あなたの空に　届くように

so it may reach your sky.

永遠（とわ）の旅へ　舞いゆけ

Dance on into an eternal journey;

響け　羽衣のうた

ring out, song of the celestial robe.
