The envelope on the desk feels a little too light.

Only my name had a red circle around it.

廊下のカメラ　都合よく止まってる

The hallway camera is conveniently switched off.

偶然にしては　出来すぎてる

For a coincidence, it's a little too perfect.

みんな同じ言葉　読み上げるみたいに

Everyone recites the same words, as if reading from a script.

綺麗な嘘ほど　傷が見えない

The prettier the lie, the less the wound shows.

でも私は見つけた

But I found it —

一行だけ　ずれた時間

a single line, with the time out of place.

これは誰かが書いた　筋書き

This is a script someone wrote,

私を悪者にする　筋書き

a script to cast me as the villain.

消したはずのログが　まだ息をしてる

The log they thought they erased is still breathing.

静かに負けたふりで　扉を開ける

Quietly pretending to lose, I open the door.

逆転のボタンは　私の手の中

The button that turns it all around is in my hand.

A small wrongness becomes the answer.

会議の開始　視線が刺さる

The meeting begins; the stares cut into me.

「彼女がやった」　先に結論

'She did it' — the verdict comes first.

I lower my eyes and swallow my frustration.

机の下で　録音が回る

Under the desk, the recording is rolling.

焦った声が　余計にしゃべる

A panicked voice says more than it should.

嘘が自分で　糸をほどく

The lie unravels its own thread.

追い詰めない　泳がせる

I don't corner them — I let them swim.

言葉の隙間に　本音が落ちる

In the gaps between the words, the truth slips out.

同じ話なのに

It's the same story, and yet

数字だけ　毎回変わる

only the numbers change each time.

これは守るための　嘘じゃない

This isn't a lie meant to protect.

誰かを落とすための　嘘だ

It's a lie meant to bring someone down.

消した履歴は　消えたふりしただけ

The deleted history only pretended to disappear.

静かに集めた　欠片が並ぶ

The fragments I quietly gathered line up.

逆転の合図が　胸で鳴る

The signal to turn it around sounds in my chest.

スクリーンが点く　部屋が黙る

The screen lights up; the room falls silent.

流れた音声　君の声

The audio that plays — your voice.

「時計を進めろ」

'Move the clock forward.'

「彼女に罪を被せろ」

'Pin the blame on her.'

椅子が軋む　顔色が変わる

A chair creaks; the color drains from your face.

味方の仮面が　床に落ちる

The mask of an ally falls to the floor.

私は言う　短く

I say it, briefly:

「これが真実です」

'This is the truth.'

「嘘は残る」

'Lies leave traces.'

「矛盾は光る」

'Contradictions shine.'

書かれた筋書きを　今書き換える

Now I rewrite the script that was written for me.

疑いの矢が　向きを変える

The arrow of suspicion changes direction.

私に貼った札が　君に戻る

The label they stuck on me returns to you.

叫ばない　泣かない

I don't scream, I don't cry —

ただ事実が　ここに立つ

the facts simply stand here.

最後に残るのは　君の言葉

What remains in the end is your own words.
