Colors Without Answers

「みんなと違う」って　不安になるけど

'I'm different from everyone' makes me anxious, but

比べるために　生まれてきたんじゃない

I wasn't born to be compared.

少し不揃いな輪郭も

Even my slightly uneven outline

君だけの　証だろう？

is proof that's yours alone, isn't it?

誰かの言葉に　迷っても

Even if someone's words leave you lost,

君の色は　君にしか描けない

only you can paint your own color.

ぼくらの色は　空に滲んで

Our colors bleed into the sky,

同じじゃないから　美しいんだ

and because they're not the same, they're beautiful.

決まりなんて　なくていい

We don't need any rules;

自由に塗っていこう

let's paint freely,

君だけのストーリーで

with a story that's yours alone.

教科書にない　答えの見えない日々

Days with no answer in sight, found in no textbook;

迷いながら　少しずつ分かってく

lost along the way, I understand bit by bit.

「わからない」があるから

Because there's an 'I don't know,'

歩く意味があるんだよ
